Excellent Read, Practical Approach

I read this book because I have friend s and family wanted to invest with me. However, it’s one thing investing with my money, it’s another using someone else’s. I needed a place to start before using private capital and this was it.

Awesome resource

Matt dose a great job explaining the process of Raising Private Capital in this book, and the different types of structures you can utilize as a deal provider or a cash provider. He gives good real world examples and stories that help you visualize doing this your self. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to raise capital for their Real estate business.

worth the time!

As a small family landlord, I am always looking to add to my knowledge and skillset and have lately found that many real estate books are sort of preaching to the choir. Hands down a must read

Matt teaches in such a way that it’s understandable and applicable immediately. But he also goes into great detail on how to raise capital the right way. I’m just getting started in real estate and this book will help me tremendously. I look forward to coming back to this post and sharing how this book has helped me from the start.

Matt Faircloth is the co-founder and president of the DeRosa Group, a real estate investment company that specializes in buying and renovating residential and commercial properties. Matt and his wife, Liz, started investing in real estate in 2004 with a $30,000 loan.
